Non-traditional Exercising
Not every strong man or woman spends hours upon hours in the gym or on the treadmill. A lot of people are getting non-traditional work outs by doing every day activities in their day to day or by doing hard working jobs as a career.

Even if you work a white collar job inside of an office, you still have all weekend to gain strength in non-traditional ways from a personal trainer. You may be against doing repetitive gym workouts for the sole purpose of working out but why not do jobs around the house that require exercising?

Try going out into your yard and finally putting together a garden for you and your family. Plus, once your done, you'll have some ultra healthy vegetables growing outside to help with your diet!
Dog Walking and Running
If you have a dog or if you don't, there are plenty of pets out there that need to be walked or ran. Go out there with one of these animals and have your own free fitness trainer to keep you motivated throughout the workout. You won't notice how hard you're working because the dog is going to keep your mind occupied during the exercise session.
Any activity that gets you off the couch and out of the house is going to be good for you. If it happens to be during the summer then you get the extra benefit of having the sun shining down on you and increasing your fitness and improving your outlook on life.
Making Excuses to Work Out
There are tons of people making excuses not to work out but how many are looking for the chance to do the opposite? For example, if somebody needs to walk a long ways to get their car then you can instead offer to run to get their car for them. They get their car without walking for hours and you get a nice little work out from it.
All these things combined day in and day out are going to bring you energy and happiness. Stay with it and you'll be feeling great about yourself.
